No — commission is only earned on a completed, paid order. Adding a film to the basket doesn't trigger anything; if the customer doesn't finish checkout, no commission is owed. You're only credited once payment has actually gone through.

15% of the net sale value of every paid order traced to your link — or 25% if you're a charity or rescue/shelter — with no cap, and no limit on how many you send. This includes the film price and all standard extras (outfit, personalised message card, scored soundtrack, faster turnaround, etc). The one exception is the optional Commercial Licence fee, which isn't commission-eligible.

As you can appreciate, it's difficult to say exactly how much any one sale will be — orders range from about £149 for a standard film up to £300+ once faster turnaround and extras are added. Whatever the order size, you always earn a flat 15% of it (25% if you're a charity or rescue/shelter).

We're not VAT-registered yet, so today that's simply 15% of the price paid (e.g. a £149 order earns you £22.35, and a £300 order earns you £45). If we register for VAT later, we'll add it on top of that same price — your commission stays exactly the same, since it's always based on the net price, not what the customer pays.

It sits within the typical 10–20% range for referral/affiliate partnerships on personalised or creative services — generous enough to be worth promoting, sustainable enough for us to keep the quality high. Charities and rescues/shelters earn 25% instead, in recognition of the extra trust and reach they bring.

We review the rate annually to keep it fair and sustainable for both sides. If it ever changes, we'll give you notice in advance — nothing changes retroactively on sales you've already earned commission on.

Real-time visibility — your own partner dashboard shows two things separately: how many customers have clicked through and completed the quiz via your link, and the commission you're actually owed from paid orders, updated live.

Commission is paid weekly, every Friday, one week in arrears — so you're always paid for sales confirmed the previous week. That short gap lets us settle any disputes or refunds before commission goes out.
